William J. Blackburn Photography

Welcome to my collection of scenic photos shots on various versions of iPhones over the last several years and one Nikon D3200 I used to have. You can buy some of my prints at All About Grace (view their Facebook Page) home-decor boutique in downtown Trenton, Michigan. You can also buy prints directly from me if you can find me.

Here you can view the lower-resolution version of my photos to get an idea of what they look like and determine whether any of my works will fit nicely in your home or office decor.

Photo #31
Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Tue. 03/01/2022 18:01 (6:01pm)
Description: Another photo from my Vegas vacation shot outside Red Rock Canyon park before sunset. I waited for the sun to set below the horizon of the mountains and take a very low exposure photo. I was not disappointed.
Photo #32
Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Wed. 03/02/2022 12:40 (12:40pm)
Description: Flying Southwest Airlines from from Las Vegas to Denver, CO. on aircraft registration N8688J, I shot this beautiful photo over the mountains. It came out so clear that one of my co-workers asked me how I got my camera outside the airplane. I was so proud of this photo that I had it printed on canvas and I gifted it to the Southwest Airlines operation of Detroit Metro Airport. I’ve been told that it’s hanging up in their control/dispatch room.

Camera: Nikon D3200
Date Taken: Wed. 09/24/2014 18:25 (6:25pm)
Description: My Nikon D3200 was new or new-ish at the time I shot this photo. I was playing around with the focus capabilities and was amazed at how I could either focus on a far object and blur the foreground or vise versa like in this photo. Truly beautiful. My only pet peeve is that the green leaves of the close branch didn’t come out as bright as I thought it would have. Still a beautiful photo regardless.

Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Mon. 04/11/2022 20:14 (8:14pm)
Description: Technically shot at Detroit Metro Airport, you actually wouldn’t have known since I only focused on the sunset sky. It looks like a painting but I cannot paint to save my life.
Photo #35
Camera: Nikon D3200
Date Taken: Thu. 06/13/2013 20:34 (8:34pm)
Description: Shot at Cole Canoe Base scout camp where I worked 3.5 summers of my teenage years. Every Monday Night after Beast Feast (outdoor cooking event), there was an event called Crafts on Fire! During my week there in 2013, I stopped by crafts during the event where I had noticed a styrofoam plate of poured paints for painting scouts to use happened to have a neat pattern to it so I decided it deserved to become a cool photo. This shot has been my cellphone background for at least 5 years now.

Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Wed. 07/20/2022 06:20 (6:20am)
Description: An early morning sunrise at Detroit Metro Airport with some dark wispy clouds in front of a blue sky.
Photo #37
Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Mon. 08/01/2022 05:52 (5:52am)
Description: My goal was to find a tree that stood out by itself with a clear dawn or dusk sky behind it. I'd say I got somewhat close to my goal but I'm not quite there yet.

Photo #40

Date Taken: Tue. 08/09/2022 20:36 (8:36pm)

Photo #41
Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Sat. 09/24/2022 16:23 (4:23pm)
Description: Shot inside Oakwoods Metropark. I like how the center tree appears to stand above the others and was the first to change colors before the rest.
Photo #42
Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Sat. 10/01/2022 11:31 (11:31am)
Description: I found a beautiful red-colored tree in the parking lot of the Willow Metropark pool. Taking pictures at various angles led me to a couple nice photos. This is this first favorite of mine from this set. The second photo is the next one in my collection.

Photo #44
Camera: iPhone 12 Pro Max
Date Taken: Sun. 10/23/2022 14:30 (2:30pm)
Description: I like to call this one "What Remains of Summer". The few leaves in this shot with green color are the only bit of green in the entire photo. It's as if I had found the last remaining bit of summer.
